Hines, among the leading privately held real estate investors and developers, has inked an agreement with Pioneer Urban to develop office space in Haryana. The move underscores Hines’s expansion strategy encompassing commercial and residential portfolio in India, which is one of its key focus markets globally.

The property, spread over 1.25 million sq. ft. is located on Golf Course Extension Road in Gurugram. The total project cost is estimated at Rs 1,500 crore and it is slated for completion by 2028. It is also part of a larger mixed-use masterplan, envisaged as an office space with amenity retail, which can cater to multinational and Indian occupiers.

Hines is expected to deliver a world-class development as it has executed large-scale real estate projects internationally and in India. CBRE is the transaction advisor for the deal. Besides this, the firm is already doing an office project with DLF and residential with Conscient Group in the city. It is currently building/planning 12 million sq. ft. with plans to add another 8-10 million sq. ft.,

Furthermore, the development firm has operations across 384 cities in 30 countries, and has USD 92.3 billion of investment assets under management and USD 109 million sq. ft. of assets for which the company provides third-party property-level services.
